MATCHING CLASHING COLORS

Matching clashing colors are two terms coherent to fashion industry. Matching colors are colors adjacent to each other whereas clashing or complementary colors are directly opposite each other on the color wheel. Brown and yellow matches well whereas violet complements great with yellow on the color wheel. We normally matches colors for formal wears and complements them during casual uses.

Three Primary Colors – Red, Blue and Yellow. Every other color is made up of some combination of these three. Primary colors by definition are those colors that cannot be created by mixing others.

Three Secondary Colors – Orange, Green, and Violet. These colors are made by two primary colors mixed together. yellow + red = orange; yellow + blue = green; red + blue = violet

In matching colors, the degree of contrasts between colors starts at a small degree for very formal for night wears and then increases for office or day uses. This is to say the contrast is greater for the office/day uses whilst it is narrower for the formal/night wears. Take the instance of the blue blazer, it matches magnificently with medium grey trousers during night formal functions and light grey or khaki trousers during day functions.
